Acting for Aviva, Porta Planning has secured a resolution to grant planning permission for a redevelopment at 43-44 Hoxton Square, subject to completion of a S106 Legal Agreement. LB Hackney’s Planning Committee voted unanimously in support of the proposal.
The scheme retains and extends the front building, which contributes to the heritage and industrial character of Hoxton Square and redevelops buildings to the rear to provide 1,000 sqm of new office space. This consent forms part of the wider refurbishment and redevelopment of Aviva’s properties in Hoxton Square, to provide their Digital Campus, forming part of the East London Tech City cluster.
