Porta Planning has secured consent for a mixed-use development in LB Wandsworth for Cherwell York Road Ltd. The scheme was highly supported by LB Wandsworth who granted a resolution to grant planning permission on 25 January 2017.
The proposal is for the demolition of a part single/part three storey public house and erection of a part 5, 9, 11, 13 and 14 storey mixed-use development plus basement, providing commercial Class B1 (a) floorspace at ground and basement levels with 82 residential units on upperfloors; with associated car parking and cycle spaces, public realm improvements and associated infrastructure works.
The scheme includes the provision of 35 % affordable housing and will offer London Help to Buy units.
